Heritage Trust recently donated $2,500 to be used for holiday meals for junior enlisted service members stationed at Joint Base Charleston and the Naval Weapons Station. Many military members are unable to return home for the holidays and often celebrate with fellow service members on base. Kellogg Community Credit Union (KCCU) and its employees proudly pledged over $18,000 to the United Way of the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region (UWBCKR). Members of the Maurie C Byrne Chapter of Credit Unions recently volunteered their time to ring bells for the Salvation Army at two locations in Grand Forks, ND. Twelve volunteers rang bells for fourteen hours and raised over $450.00 for the Salvation Army. Union and the Brownstown Downtown Development Authority co-hosted a Pallets for Paws painting party at the Brownstown Event Center. During the event, attendees were given their pre-selected stencil, supplies and instructions. FREEPORT, IL – Cornerstone Credit Union hosted the annual WREX Freeport Food Drive at their facility on W Meadows Drive in Freeport on Friday, November 3, 2017. This was the fourth annual drive, but was the first to be held at Cornerstone.
