San Diego County CU Providing Free Educational Resources for Financial Wellness Month

SAN DIEGO, Calif., (January 19, 2021) –  San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®), one of Southern California’s largest locally-owned financial institutions is committed to helping the community start the new year off right by offering free educational resources for National Financial Wellness Month. January is the perfect time to focus on improving financial health, as research shows that poor financial health often leads to diminished physical health. To help educate the community, SDCCU is presenting free weekly educational webinars on a variety of topics aimed at improving financial health, including the Keys to Homeownership, Dealing with a Furlough or Layoff, College Financing 101, Building a Better Budget, Scams and How to Protect Your Finances and more. The webinar format allows the community to join the presentation online from the safety of their own homes.

“We are pleased to do our part to help provide essential financial education for our members and the community,” said Teresa Campbell, SDCCU president and CEO. “No matter your financial situation or income, our webinar topics offer ideas and resources to help you prepare and plan for a healthy financial future.”
