Stratford, CT – February 25, 2021 –  For many high school seniors an exciting time is coming soon - graduation. Many seniors plan to continue their education after high school and will soon face the high cost of college tuition. Five high school seniors will have a head start as Sikorsky Credit Union is once again offering the Thomas J. Williams Scholarship program.

To apply for the scholarship, eligible students will submit an essay for consideration. In order to be eligible, the student must be graduating high school in the spring of 2021 and plan to attend college as a full-time student in the fall. The student must also be a member of Sikorsky Credit Union by March 31, 2021. Membership at the Credit Union can be started with just a $5 minimum deposit.

“Over the years, we have helped many students get a head start managing college expenses through this program,” mentioned Vincent Ciambriello, President & CEO at Sikorsky Credit Union. “We are looking forward to awarding five more high school seniors in 2021 to help with those expenses.”
