Maddock, ND - Community support is very important to North Star Community CU (NSCCU), so it was no surprise when a group of community members recognized the need for a quality daycare in their area, NSCCU knew they wanted to help.

The Little Bobcats Daycare was created by that same group of community members and has already filed for their 501c3 non-profit status.  The daycare will be overseen by a volunteer board of directors.  In part, their mission statement says, “Our Mission is to provide a safe environment for children to learn and grow.  We value an educational-based approach to childcare and promote a healthy lifestyle so that your child can reach their fullest potential.” 

To help them on their way, NSCCU recently made a $10,000 donation.  “Little Bobcats Daycare is committed to providing quality childcare services to the community of Maddock and surrounding areas, and we are proud to support this organization that will benefit many young families in our community,” stated Yvonne Fossen, NSCCU VP of Operations.

The daycare is temporarily located in the Maddock Community Center and is already home to children from 14 families!
