Wichita, KS, October 6, 2021 -- Skyward Credit Union is proud to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. For 25 Years, Credit Unions for Kids has supported Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raising the critical funds needed to help close the funding gap for hospitals serving children across the country.

An unexpected injury or diagnosis of a child can be devastating for the entire family, both emotionally and financially. It’s estimated that up to 50% of kids who end up at a Children's Miracle Network hospital, did not expect it when waking up that morning. Right now, hospitals serving children are in the spotlight due to the increased cases of Covid-19 in children. This reality has placed a tremendous burden on these hospitals, including ours. In addition to needing care relative to the pandemic, everyday life happens with broken bones, other respiratory illnesses and the moments in between.

Skyward's donated funds will help hospitals serving children with medical issues, especially those affected by Covid-19. 

Kids can’t wait for a return to normal, they need our help now. We’re excited to celebrate this major milestone of 25 Years of Credit Unions for Kids supporting kids and families in our community and beyond.
