Central CU of Floria Ramps Up Charity Support

PENSACOLA, FL (November 19, 2021) — This month, Central Credit Union of Florida boosts its efforts to assist local charities in the Gulf Coast region as the holiday season approaches. Utilizing their social media platform, the credit union initiated a giveaway for two VIP tickets to the inaugural All Services Ball hosted by The Honor HER Foundation of Northwest Florida. A winner was selected and announced on November 10th, 2021.

The VIP tickets provided attendance to the first charity ball of its kind on the Gulf Coast, which was held to celebrate and honor the past and present members of the armed forces, law enforcement and first responders. The event was held on the evening of November 13th, 2021 and included live music and a silent auction. “The Honor HER Foundation is an organization dedicated to a great cause: working with female veterans seeking support and assistance, and we wanted to help promote their mission and this special event that they started this year,” states Central Credit Union of Florida.

“So many non-profit groups are needing extra support during this time of year so we get involved with as many programs as we can in various ways. One program our members and the public can always count on is bringing their food donations to our branch lobbies in both Pensacola and Panama City.”

Continuing a yearly tradition, collection boxes are stationed in each of the five Central Credit Union of Florida branch locations. Food items can be donated until November 19th, 2021 by members and the public alike and will be delivered to Manna Food Pantries in Pensacola and the Panama City Rescue Mission in Bay County.

Please see the Central Credit Union of Florida website for each branch lobby’s location and hours of operation. To learn more about becoming a member with Central Credit Union of Florida at any of their (5) branch locations, visit their website www.ccufl.org or call their local headquarters at (850) 474-0970 or (800) 375- 2235.
