San Diego CA— May is a special time for Cabrillo Credit Union. During the month-long fundraising campaign, ‘May Means Business’, Cabrillo raised $44,000, to support Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego, tying their all-time highest donation record.
Throughout the fundraising campaign, credit unions around the country raise money for their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Despite the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, they were all able to come together as a community to help the children of San Diego.
Cabrillo members, staff and partners generously donated to this worthy cause and in addition to their fundraising efforts, Cabrillo introduced their first cause-based campaign, where they donated every time their members used their debit and credit cards. This alone contributed over $20,000 towards the fundraiser.
In addition, Cabrillo Credit Union received a generous $10,000 grant from CO-OP Financial Services, through their Miracle Match Program.
