Dakota CU Foundation Awards $1,000 Grant to Support Financial Literacy

Bismarck, ND - The Dakota Credit Union Foundation (Foundation) has approved one additional grant for the Zogo app. Vue Community CU (Bismarck, ND) was unanimously approved to receive assistance for this financial education resource.

“This is awesome!” stated Steve DeLap, President of Vue Community CU. “I am excited to be able to offer this to our members and to increase financial literacy. Thank you so much!”

The Dakota Credit Union Foundation Board of Directors reviews each grant request, and each must be approved by majority vote. Credit unions that are members of the Dakota Credit Union Association can apply for a grant at any time; requests are reviewed during Foundation Board meetings. The next official in-person meeting takes place on Wednesday, August 17th in Fargo just prior to the Foundation’s Golf Scramble.
