CSE Federal Credit Union Provides Lunch For Children In Their Community

Lake Charles, La.— CSE Federal Credit Union (CSE), with the help of Water's Edge Gathering, Buffalo Wild Wings, Famous Foods, MacFarlane's Celtic Pub, Tia Juanita's Fish Camp, and Mirror Ministries, was able to provide an organized lunch to a group of children in need.

The goal of this initiative was to ensure these children within an underserved neighborhood were cared for to have a happy and healthy future. CSE filled 70 boxes of food donated by the restaurants mentioned above. Water's Edge Gathering kindly distributed these lunches to the children and some adults. Additionally, jump ropes and frisbees were also given out thanks to a donation by Mirror Ministries.

“Children are a significant part of our local communities, and with the struggles these neighborhoods endure, we wanted to give a token of our love,” said Amy Nyberg, Senior Business Development Specialist.  “We partnered with Water’s Edge Gathering, Mirror Ministries, Buffalo Wild Wings, Famous Foods, MacFarlane’s Celtic Pub and Tia Juanita’s Fish Camp in Lake Charles and hope to grow our contributions in the future.”

Throughout the year, CSE provides several other resources in support of the local communities’ efforts in Southwest Louisiana.

CSE is the largest credit union headquartered in SWLA with assets over $488 million. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Jeff Davis and Vernon Parishes.
