EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – For the 2022-year, Royal Credit Union (Royal) and The Salvation Army partnered to hold the annual Giving Never Melts Away toy drive in November.  New, unwrapped toys could be donated at any of Royal’s 26 retail offices, monetary donations were also accepted in offices or online.  All toys and donations were used to brighten the holidays for families across northwestern Wisconsin and the greater Metro area in Minnesota.

This year, Royal collected over 650 toys and raised more than $500 for The Salvation Army through the generosity of community members and team members. Royal values making a difference in the communities they serve and knows credit union Members appreciate the opportunity to help their neighbors and bring smiles to children at the holidays.

“We are extremely thankful to all community members that contributed to Giving Never Melts Away this year,” said Heidi Sandquist, Community Engagement Coordinator. “It is a great feeling to know that we are able to help so many families in our communities and it wouldn’t be possible without our generous donors.”

The Salvation Army collected the toys and monetary donations from all 26 Royal offices and distributed them locally to the communities that Royal serves.
