DuPage Credit Union Raises Over $2,000 for Students in Need

CaptureNAPERVILLE –DuPage Credit Union would like to thank everyone who participated in its recent Drive, Drop & Donate event. During the Shred & Electronic Recycle Day fund-raiser, the Credit Union raised over $2,000 to be used to purchase backpacks and school supplies for DuPage County students in need. The supplies will be given to local students during the Annual Back-to-School Fair on August 5th at the Odeum in Villa Park. “We’re thrilled with the results and overwhelmed by the generosity we’ve received from the community throughout our We’ve Got Your Back campaign,” said Amy Brandt, Vice President of Business Solutions at the Credit Union. “We’ve still got a ways to go to reach our 2015 goal, but we are determined to raise $20,000 and help 1,000 DuPage County students.” To date, the Credit Union has raised $12,600 to purchase supplies and backpacks; and will continue to take donations through August 1st.
