SALT LAKE CITY, UT (October 7, 2016) — Over 300 credit unions across the country “went casual for kids” during this year’s Miracle Jeans Day event to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide.
Credit Union professionals donated $5 to wear jeans as part of the annual event. Additionally, some employees contributed an additional $25 to receive a free Miracle Jeans Day t-shirt designed especially for the event.
Credit unions traditionally are the largest contributor among Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals corporate partners. All CMN Hospitals donations stay in the community in which the money was raised. The funds support each hospital’s greatest needs, which include life-saving research, treatments, equipment and charitable care. The funds raised help to light the way in helping sick children and their parents navigate through stormy days.
