M-O Federal Credit Union in Huron, SD celebrated National Credit Union Youth Month with a “Prize Nest”, a membership bonus, and a “Whooo’s Hungry” event. As part of the Whooo’s Hungry event, the credit union served owl-themed treats to members, including: nests (nest shaped rice crispy treats); owls made from Rollo’s candy; mice made from Hershey’s Kisses; haystack nests with little edible owls, pretzel sticks, and jelly bean eggs. Any time a youth member made a deposit into their account during youth month, they were able to pick a prize from the “Prize Nest”, which included small trinkets, activity books, notebooks, pens, pencils, stuffed animals, and other assorted prizes.
