Ogdensburg, NY – St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union (SLFCU) will again be a major sponsor for the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (B.A.S.S.) Master Elite Series that takes place in Waddington from July 20-23. The credit union donated $5,000 to sponsor the main stage of Party in the Park 4 which features 18 free concerts as part of the tournament weekend.

The Master Elite Series returns this year to Waddington, NY one of its most popular venues in history. Elite Series tournaments at Waddington in 2013 and 2015 drew the largest crowds in Elite Series history, with attendance exceeding 30,000 both years in the tiny village. The tournament will bring the world’s top anglers back to compete for a $100,000 prize on the St. Lawrence River, which is known as a world-class smallmouth bass fishery, number 11 on the list of the nation’s 100 best.

About B.A.S.S. Master Elite Tournament
The Bassmaster Elite Series is the highest level of professional bass fishing tournaments. Competitors must qualify for the series through the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Opens or the B.A.S.S. Nation. The series was founded in 2006.
