Blood Donations Received at ORNL Federal Credit Union

This week, the MEDIC Regional Blood Center blood drive bus was on location at both ORNL Federal Credit Union branches in Oak Ridge and off Northshore in Knoxville, Tennessee. Blood donations were received for most of the day from employees and the general public. Those who donated received a free appetizer from Texas Roadhouse and a choice of t-shirt or socks. At the end of the day a total of 65 donations were collected!

MEDIC is the only U.S. blood center which has a Blood Coverage Program covering members’ blood supplier processing fees at any hospital in the country. Today, MEDIC Regional Blood Center is the sole provider of products for 29 Eastern Tennessee area hospitals.
