Zeal Credit Union Recognizes Unsung Heros

Livonia, MI (February 15, 2018)Do you know someone who deserves special recognition for all the hard work they do? Whether it’s someone who works long hours, volunteers time to help those in need, an unsung hero and more, Zeal Credit Union invites you to nominate the individual online at www.HardWorkingSpiritAwards.com.

“As the credit union for hard working Americans, Zeal knows that hard work is not often recognized,” said Lisa Fawcett, chief marketing officer for Zeal Credit Union. “Last year we created the Hard Working Spirit Awards to celebrate people who go the extra mile. There were so many heartwarming stories that we realized how important these awards are.”

March 14, 2018 is the deadline to submit a nomination for someone you know who is deserving or you can nominate yourself. The winner does not need to be a member of Zeal Credit Union.

A winner will be selected from each of eight categories including skilled trades, medical, office, service industry, civil service, education, unsung hero and community superstar.

Winners will receive special recognition and a $100 VISA gift card at Zeal Credit Union’s 63rd annual meeting at the Dearborn Inn on March 23, 2018. In addition, one lucky winner will be named the Hardest Working Member for 2918 and receive a $1,000 grand prize.

Regina Lee, winner of last year’s Hardest Working Member award, was nominated by her daughter Rogi Banks, who is pursuing a doctorate at Howard University in school psychology. Banks described the sacrifices her mother had made for her, her siblings and cousins that enabled them to have what she never had growing up.
