Wichita, Kan. – April 13, 2018 – Skyward Credit Union teamed up with the listeners of KMUW, Wichita’s public radio station, to present a check for $5,000 to the Guadalupe Clinic. For every pledge made during KMUW’s Spring Pledge Drive, Skyward agreed to cover the cost of a medical visit to Guadalupe Clinic for someone in need.

Guadalupe Clinic is a donation-based safety-net clinic that provides health care to residents of Sedgwick County. They see patients whom are working but cannot afford other health care options. For a $5 donation, patients receive doctor’s care, lab tests, X-rays, and medications. Over 300 Medical Volunteers donate their time annually to serve thousands of patients.

Skyward Credit Union has over $280 million in assets with locations in Wichita, Kansas and Independence, Kansas. Membership is current and former employees of Textron Aviation Companies (Cessna, Beechcraft, and Hawker) and their families.
