Hanscom FCU Sponsors Airman Leadership School Graduation

Hanscom AFB, MA (May 24, 2018) – Senior Airmen from a number of area military bases graduated from Hanscom Air Force Base’s five-week long Airman Leadership School (ALS) on May 4, 2018. Hanscom Federal Credit Union sponsored the graduation ceremony as it has done in the past.

The ALS is the first professional military education that enlisted Air Force personnel encounter in their careers. The school prepares them for supervisory roles by strengthening their ability to lead, follow, and manage while helping them gain a broader understanding of their profession.

“These Airmen are deserving of our respect for their hard work and dedication to their studies,” said Paul Marotta, Chairman of the Board of Hanscom Federal Credit Union. “They’re ready to lead, and we at Hanscom Federal Credit Union are proud of their achievements.”

The ALS at Hanscom AFB also includes students from the United States Coast Guard Base Cape Cod, MA; 102nd Civil Engineer SQ Otis ANGB, MA; 104th Operations Support SQ Barnes ANGB, MA; 64th Air Refueling SQ Pease ANGB, NH; 104th Logistics Readiness SQ Barnes ANGB, MA; 439th Maintenance SQ Westover ARB, MA; and the USCG Sector Southeastern New England.
