Middletown, Pa. and Greensboro, N.C. (May 30, 2018) – A penny for your thoughts, a nickel for a…neonatal crib? Every cent makes a difference to the patients at Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals, and it’s why Vizo Financial asked credit unions to participate in their annual Change a Child’s Life coin drive competition.

Since 2016, Vizo Financial has hosted this friendly competition among credit unions in an effort to raise money to benefit the local CMN Hospitals in our communities.

As part of the competition, credit unions are encouraged to place the signature CU4Kids coin canisters around their branches to collect change from employees and members. The winning credit union would be the one to raise the most money per member.

Vizo Financial is excited to announce Corry Federal Credit Union of Corry, Pa., as the winner of the 2018 competition! All the money Corry FCU raised will be donated to their local CMN Hospital, Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pa.

In addition to the change collected by the participating credit unions, Vizo Financial raised funds internally through the Change a Child’s Life coin collection campaign. Vizo Financial will continue to raise money in the coin collection campaign through May 31, 2018.

In total, the competing credit unions, as well as the Corporate, brought in $472.38 for CMN Hospitals in the month of April!

That’s the message we want our member credit unions and the people in our communities to take away from this fundraiser.”
