Bannockburn (IL) – In support of Great Lakes Credit Union’s (GLCU) initiative to support its communities, on October 2, 2018, GLCU Board Member, Lee Piekarz, contributed $3,000 to Turning Point of Lake County.

GLCU is proud to support the communities in which its members live. For the third year in a row, GLCU’s Board of Directors adopted an extraordinary plan to give back to its neighbors; Branch Managers of each GLCU location work closely with Board Members to support local charities. 

Turning Point is a domestic abuse center to help abused women and children of the McHenry county area.  Its many services consist of 24-hour Crisis Intervention and Response, Emergency Shelter, Individual and Group Counseling for Adults, Trauma-Based Mental Health Services and so much more.  To learn more, go to www.mchenrycountyturningpoint.org
