North Star Community CU has announced that they will once again be awarding $5,000 in scholarship to graduating high school seniors in the markets the credit union serves. Individual awards will range from $500 to $1,000 each, determined by the number of applications received. To be eligible, applicants must be a graduating high school senior; must be enrolled to be a full-time student at the college of his/her choice, and they, or their parent, must be a member of North Star CCU. Applications are due by May 1, 2019. Applications are available on their website at northstarccu.com. 

The North Star Community Credit Union scholarships were established in 1980 and have been paid out annually ever since. North Star Community Credit Union serves the North Dakota communities of Maddock, Bottineau, Butte, Cavalier, Grafton, Minot, Rugby, Velva, and Willow City. Chartered in 1940, the credit union currently has more than 20,000 members and over $300M in assets.
