PLYMOUTH, Minn. — In celebration of TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union’s 80th anniversary, each branch of the credit union is selecting a local charity to receive a $1,000 donation from the TruStone Financial Foundation. As part of this initiative, TruStone Financial’s Northeast Minneapolis branch recently selected East Side Neighborhood Services to receive a donation from the Foundation.

East Side Neighborhood Services is a non-profit organization that provides basic needs resources and social services to the Northeast and Southeast Minneapolis communities. The organization has been helping to support the community for over a century with resources such as out-of-school programs for youth, employment programs, transportation services and food shelves.

“At TruStone Financial, we value building strong partnerships in the communities that we serve,” said Ebele Onwuagba, manager of the Northeast Minneapolis TruStone Financial branch. “We have partnered with East Side Neighborhood Services since 2011 because of their dedication to improving the lives of the residents in Northeast Minneapolis.”
