Duluth, GA (October 23, 2019) – On Monday, October 21, 2019, Georgia United Credit Union presented a $5,000 check to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). The donation was made possible through the credit union’s Swipe4CHOA event, where $.10 of every debit card transaction, up to $5,000, made on October 17, was donated to CHOA.

“Georgia United has been a longstanding supporter of the healthcare initiatives at Children’s, and we are thrilled to receive this donation which will help the children and families facing an unexpected medical crisis,” said Nancy Koenig, program coordinator at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Swipe4CHOA was a special one-day event held on October 17, in celebration of the 71st anniversary of International Credit Union Day.
