TruStone Financial Helps Sponsor Free Ice Skating Rink for City of Greenfield

PLYMOUTH, MN - January 8, 2020 - TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union recently provided $10,000 to the City of Greenfield, WI Department of Parks and Recreation to sponsor the warming area of its ice skating rink. The rink, which is sponsored by Dan Jansen Family Fest, Inc. and located at Konkel Park, is free and open to the public, including free skate rentals. This skating rink provides a free outdoor winter activity to residents of Greenfield and the surrounding communities.

“When I learned that Dan Jansen Family Fest, Inc. had spearheaded the ice rink project, I was excited to get behind such a wonderful, community-driven organization,” said Kacie Osten, Vice President and Director of Wisconsin Branches at TruStone Financial. “TruStone recently opened a branch in Greenfield and also has a nearby branch in Cudahy. The credit union is thrilled to be part of this project and to continue getting involved in the Greenfield community.”

The City of Greenfield’s Director of Parks and Recreation, Scott Jaquish, thanked TruStone for being the premiere sponsor for the warming area. “Kacie and her team at TruStone are great to work with, and they show a lot of community spirit and a willingness to give back to the community,” he said.
