NuMark Credit Union Offers Free Seminars for Home Buyers

Illinois - “It is shaping up to be a fantastic year to buy a new home. Now is the time for those looking to make the move to their first home.” states NuMark Credit Union VP of Mortgage Lending, Harry Stewart. “With the economy as strong as it is and mortgage rates still historically low, 2020 provides an excellent opportunity for not only first time home buyers, but also existing buyers looking to purchase either a new home or investment property. The First Time Home Buyer seminar provides a wealth of information from industry experts. Anyone looking to purchase a new home should definitely take advantage and attend one of our seminars.”

This free seminar will help you gain skills for a successful navigation through the home buying process and it is a great resource for those who are in the market to purchase their first home, but don’t know where to start. Home buyers could save thousands of dollars by attending one of these free seminars. A panel of local professionals will answer your questions about inspecting, purchasing and closing on your first home. The panel will include a real estate agent, home appraiser, home inspector, representative from the title company and NuMark Credit Union’s, Harry Stewart.

This seminar will take place from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on the following dates at NuMark Credit Union locations:

Tuesday, March 10th at the Tinley Park branch- 8001 W. 159th Street

Tuesday, March 17 th at the Countryside branch – 9809 W. 55th Street

Tuesday, March 24th at the Crest Hill branch- 2380 Caton Farm Road

NuMark Credit Union mortgage staff will be available to pre-qualify people if they so desire. Those looking to pre-qualify will need to bring the last three months of bank statements, the last two years of federal tax returns with W-2’s and the last 30 days of pay stubs. Attendees will also receive a free mortgage appraisal coupon.

This seminar is free and all are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be available at no cost. Participants are encouraged to bring their friends and family. Seating is limited.
