Presented by knowledgeable speakers addressing a wide variety of technology-related topics, each day will bring themed sessions, ranging from everyday tech, to health, financial and fun tech. SDCCU will present a free webinar, “Scams and How to Protect Your Finances” on Friday, October 23 at 11 a.m. The webinar will be presented by SDCCU experts, with the format allowing the community to join the presentation online from the safety of their own homes.

“We are excited to do our part to help educate adults 50+ on how to protect their finances and avoid scams,” said Teresa Campbell, SDCCU president and CEO. “Adults 50+ are the most vulnerable population when it comes to scams, and we want to help provide information and safety tips to educate and bring awareness to this widespread problem.”

SDCCU will present an informative session covering common fraud and scams currently being used amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The session will also discuss tips for staying safe and share resources and tools available if you or someone you know has been targeted or scammed.
