FRESNO, Calif. (June 25, 2025) — Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU) and the Madera County Superintendent of Schools (MCSOS) celebrated the opening of a new on-site ATM with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, June 25. The opening represents a continued partnership between the two organizations focused on accessibility, service, and investment in the growing Madera community.

Located in Madera just outside
the MCSOS building at 1025 S. Madera Ave., the new EECU ATM provides community
members with 24/7 access to banking services, including withdrawals, deposits,
transfers and balance inquiries. This addition supports EECU’s mission to make
financial services more convenient and accessible for the communities it
serves.
“We’re proud to partner with
the Madera County Superintendent of Schools to expand access to essential
financial services with the opening of this new ATM,” said Elizabeth J. Dooley,
EECU president and CEO. “This central location provides around-the-clock access
and helps us better serve the Madera community.”
EECU also offers a full-service
branch in Madera on Yosemite Avenue, an ATM at Madera Community College, and an
ATM in Madera Ranchos. With a growing membership of more than 20,800 in Madera
County, EECU remains committed to expanding access and support for its local
members.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony
featured remarks from Madera County Superintendent of Schools Dr. Cecilia
Massetti, followed by a ceremonial ribbon-cutting in collaboration with the
Madera Chamber of Commerce, and refreshments for attendees.
In a special highlight of the
event, young students and staff from the nearby MCSOS Early Education Center joined in the celebration. The children enjoyed
meeting EECU’s mascot, Eddie the Owl, and posed for photos to mark the
occasion.
