The annual event shines a spotlight on the dedication and impact of those who go above and beyond to inspire students, strengthen schools, and enrich the community. Since 2006, EECU has partnered with the Merced County Office of Education to honor the county’s top school employee, administrator, and teacher of the year.
EECU President and CEO Elizabeth J. Dooley joined the Merced County Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services Laura Andrews to honor the recipients at the Merced Theatre. All of the honorees were nominated by their peers from Merced County’s 20 school districts.
“The Excellence in Education Awards honor the extraordinary individuals who dedicate their time, energy, and passion to helping students succeed,” Dooley said. “At EECU, we’re grateful to partner with the Merced County Office of Education in celebrating their achievements and recognizing the difference they make for families across the county.”
