FRESNO, Calif. (March 6, 2026) – Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU) is proud to announce it has once again been recognized in two categories of the Best of North San Luis Obispo (SLO) County Reader’s Poll by The Atascadero News and The Paso Robles Press.
Voters selected EECU as the
Best Bank or Credit Union and Best Mortgage or Home Loans, reflecting the
credit union’s commitment to helping members reach their financial goals while
delivering exceptional service to the Paso Robles community and surrounding
areas.
The annual Best of North SLO
County awards highlight outstanding local businesses and services across the
region. Category winners are selected based directly on reader-submitted
responses and it is not a multiple-choice vote.
“We are honored to be
recognized by the North SLO County community as the Best Credit Union and Best
Home Loans,” said Elizabeth J. Dooley, EECU president and CEO. “This
recognition reflects the trust our members place in us and dedication of our
Paso Robles team to providing knowledgeable service and financial solutions
that help people succeed.”
EECU opened its Paso Robles
branch in June 2023, expanding the Fresno-based credit union’s service to
California’s Central Coast. Since then, the branch has become an active part of
the local community through sponsorships, events, and partnerships with schools
and community organizations.
“It’s incredibly meaningful to
receive this recognition from the community we serve,” said Carrie Danielson,
EECU Paso Robles branch manager. “Our team works hard every day to support our
members and neighbors, and we’re proud to help people navigate important
financial decisions like buying a home.”
EECU’s Paso Robles branch is
fully staffed with licensed loan counselors who can assist members with real
estate loan applications directly in the branch.
