HAEFCU Announces "Ca$h for the Classroom" Recipients

The Huron Area Education Federal Credit Union was formed in 1952 by a group of educators looking to provide a better financial option for their co-workers. In doing so they created a financial institution that understands the needs of educators. That philosophy still holds true today. In fact, our Board of Directors and staff are all current or former school employees or have family members that are. We understand the needs of our members because we are just like you!
We are pleased to announce the winners of our Fall semester “Ca$h for the Classroom” drawing.
The two
credit union members who each won $200 to purchase supplies for their classroom
were Brittni Dupris, Special Education teacher at Washington 4-5 Center in
Huron, and Madison Schmidt, a 7th Grade Math teacher at the Huron Middle School.
As we celebrate 75 years of HAEFCU, we are proud to give back to our members
and communities who have supported us along the way. We understand the needs
our educators have when it comes to providing the necessary materials for their
students, and we are honored to be able to assist in this way. Over the past 13
years, we have had the privilege of helping 52 educators purchase the “extras”
for their classrooms.
