HAEFCU Awards Ca$h for the Classroom
May 19, 2017
The Huron Area Education Federal Credit Union was formed in 1952 by a group of educators looking to provide a better financial option for their co-workers. In doing so they created a financial institution that understands the needs of educators. That philosophy still holds true today. In fact, our Board of Directors and staff are all current or former school employees or have family members that are. We understand the needs of our members because we are just like you!
Huron Area Education Federal Credit Union wishes to recognize two area educators for participating in the spring semester “Ca$h for the Classroom” promotion. Cheryl Puhl – 6th grade teacher at the Huron Middle School and Deb Ogle – 3rd grade teacher at Sanborn Central were awarded $200 each to purchase supplies for their classroom. HAEFCU understands the need that our educators have in providing necessary materials for their students so it is pleased to be able to assist in this small way.
Manager Kristen Jurgens is pictured presenting the funds to each winner.
