HAEFCU awards $2,400 in scholarships to 9 area students
May 10, 2018
The Huron Area Education Federal Credit Union was formed in 1952 by a group of educators looking to provide a better financial option for their co-workers. In doing so they created a financial institution that understands the needs of educators. That philosophy still holds true today. In fact, our Board of Directors and staff are all current or former school employees or have family members that are. We understand the needs of our members because we are just like you!
Huron, SD - The Huron Area Education Federal Credit Union Scholarship Committee is pleased to award $2,400 in scholarships to nine of their student members for the upcoming 2018-2019 academic year. Applicants were required to submit an application which showed their school, community, and credit union involvement. This year’s winners were Kenzie Blue, Nick Christensen, Alexis Glanzer, Rachel Guthmiller, Sierra Halbur, Kaitlyn King, Emily Lord, Tanner Pietz, and Stephanie VandenHoek. Huron Area Education FCU would like to congratulate the scholarship winners and wish them the best of luck on their future endeavors.
