HAEFCU Awards $1,500 in Scholarships to Three Area Students.

The Huron Area Education Federal Credit Union was formed in 1952 by a group of educators looking to provide a better financial option for their co-workers. In doing so they created a financial institution that understands the needs of educators. That philosophy still holds true today. In fact, our Board of Directors and staff are all current or former school employees or have family members that are. We understand the needs of our members because we are just like you!
Huron, SD - The Huron Area Education Federal Credit Union (HAEFCU) Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce they have awarded $500 scholarships to three of their student members for the upcoming 2019-2020 academic year. Applicants were required to submit an application which showed their school, community, and credit union involvement. This year’s winners were Kenzie Blue, Sierra Halbur and Jamie Holforty. HAEFCU would like to congratulate this year’s scholarship winners, and wish them the best of luck on their future endeavors.
