Huron Area Education FCU Awards $2,250 in Scholarships to Local Students

The Huron Area Education Federal Credit Union was formed in 1952 by a group of educators looking to provide a better financial option for their co-workers. In doing so they created a financial institution that understands the needs of educators. That philosophy still holds true today. In fact, our Board of Directors and staff are all current or former school employees or have family members that are. We understand the needs of our members because we are just like you!
Huron, SD - Mayu7 13, 2020 - The Huron Area Education FCU Scholarship Committee is pleased to award $250 scholarships to nine of their student members for the upcoming 2020-2021 academic year. Applicants were required to submit an application which showed their school, community, and credit union involvement. This year’s winners were Elizabeth Brandt, Alexis Glanzer, Angela Guthmiller, Sierra Halbur, Elizabeth Katz, Claudia Lemire, Spencer Lord, Shelby VandenHoek and Stephanie VandenHoek.
