NuMark Credit Union Honors Dedication of Longtime Leader

March, 2021 – Joliet, IL. After over 40 years of dedication to the credit union movement, Ann M. Dubie is retiring as President & CEO of NuMark Credit Union. Under her leadership for the past 20 years, NuMark has built a strong capital ratio and grown to over $500 million in assets. As of fourth quarter 2020, NuMark is listed as one of the Top 200 Credit Unions in the United States ranked 107 out of 5,321 credit unions according to DepositAccounts.com and has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Dubie served on the Board of the Joliet Regional Chamber of Commerce and is active in the Tinley Park, New Lenox and Countryside Chambers of Commerce. Dubie also served on the Illinois Credit Union Foundation Board as well as one of the Credit Union National Association’s Advisory Boards.

During her tenure, NuMark Credit Union has received multiple state and national awards including the Credit Union National Association’s Dora Maxell Community Service Award and Desjardins Financial Literacy Award. As a passionate supporter of the “people helping people” credit union philosophy, NuMark has supported many national and local charities.

As one of the first Illinois contributors to the national Credit Union Awareness Campaign, Dubie believes in the credit union difference. She recognizes that credit unions shouldn’t be one of the best-kept financial secrets. Credit Unions are member-owned, not-for-profit and dedicated to serving their members. That focus helps credit unions make the world a better place.

Dubie has been a strong advocate for women in the credit union movement. She has built a solid senior management team that works together to lead the credit union. She has always made a tremendous effort to make sure employees feel like family. Many staff members credit Dubie for providing them an opportunity to achieve their professional goals. Her generosity, compassion and commitment are unmatched.
