Mountain America Credit Union is pleased to announce that its 2021 Employee Match Program has raised over $24,000 for Operation Warm to provide more than 1,000 coats and shoes to kids in need throughout the Intermountain West.

In Nevada, 18% of children live in poverty. Without access to basic necessities, including shoes, a child’s learning and social opportunities can be hindered. Operation Warm provides confidence and hope to children in need through the gift of brand-new shoes and coats. On Tuesday, July 20, Mountain America employees distributed brand-new shoes to students at the Acelero Learning Head Start, Henderson Center.

Over the coming months, Mountain America will gift shoes and coats to kids in need in Arizona, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico and Utah as part of its employee match program.
