Tropical Financial to Appear on Lifetime® Home Improvement Show March 31

MIRAMAR, Fla. – (March 29, 2017) – Tropical Financial Credit Union is about to make its big debut on national television.

This Friday, March 31, at 7:30 am, Designing Spaces®, a popular home improvement show on Lifetime®, will air a segment about the value of using local lenders to finance a home purchase. 

The segment features Chad and Elizabeth Virtanen, a recently married couple from Hollywood who bought their first house with a mortgage from Tropical Financial. Producers also interviewed Helen McGiffin, senior vice president and chief lending officer, and Amy McGraw, vice president of marketing, to talk about the advantages of using a local lender.  

Tropical Financial was recommended for the segment by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta. The FHLBanks, also prominently featured, is a federal government sponsored enterprise that provides liquidity to member institutions for housing finance and community investment.
