Middletown, Pa. – Vizo Financial Corporate Credit Union and Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids) joined forces to raise money and gather volunteers for the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation’s second annual Walk for Children’s event on June 3, 2017.
Walk for Children’s is a family walk event that benefits Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC - a Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospital - by bringing together the community and raising money for patient care. Vizo Financial reached out to member credit unions in the Pittsburgh area to encourage monetary donations and people to participate in the walk.
At the event, Vizo Financial employees and their families marched along with over 4,000 walkers and represented the CU4Kids brand.
Overall, the 2017 Walk for Children’s event garnered a grand total of $787,520! Of that, the CU4Kids team donated $5,616 with contributions from several Pittsburgh credit unions, Vizo Financial and personal donations from our AMIS subsidiary staff.
