Sioux Falls, SD - On Friday September 8th, KTWB “Big Country” and five other Midwest Communications radio stations were raising money for The American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to support those hit hardest by the Hurricanes and flooding. To support those efforts, employees at Service First Federal Credit Union in Sioux Falls donated 93 cases of water and approximately $160 in cash. Students from Southeast Technical Institute also volunteered, accepting the donations and loading the semi-tractor trailer truck to be delivered to the Houston Food Bank.
Service First FCU was asked to be the official cash counter for this event, and $7,000 in cash donations were raised.
