Bannockburn (IL) – Great Lakes Credit Union (GLCU) is excited to announce that college-bound students may submit their 2018 Education Scholarship applications now through April 1, 2018. The GLCU Scholarship Committee will then select and award individual $1,000 scholarships to six students! 

The scholarship program is available to any qualifying member, no matter their age or education level. The funds can be used for tuition, accommodations, books, etc. at colleges of the winners’ choice.

“For the past 17 years, GLCU has raised money annually, in large part through employee fundraising efforts, to award scholarships to members continuing their education,” says Yvonne Bailey, Vice President of Marketing. “It is always a difficult selection process because of the many quality essays we receive.”
