Trustone Financial Employees Raise $1,000 for American Legion Post

PLYMOUTH, Minn. (January 19, 2018) − TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union employees based in Wisconsin raised $1,000 for American Legion Post 21 of Kenosha at their annual holiday party.

The credit union’s donation will go towards funding American Legion programming for local Kenosha veterans. American Legion Post 21 Finance Officer, Rhonda Jenkins, expressed her thanks, “The members of American Legion Post 21 are very grateful to have been named TruStone Financial’s fundraiser recipient. This funding will help revitalize our efforts of supporting our local veterans, their families and our community.”

As the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, the American Legion is committed to strengthening communities, a value that TruStone Financial shares.

“Our employees have continuously shown their commitment to serving our community,” commented Director of Wisconsin Branches, Kacie Osten. “To see the impact our staff can make over the holiday season, especially for a deserving organization, truly embodies our credit union philosophy of people helping people.”

The credit union’s departments teamed up to provide themed baskets to raffle off and the money collected from the raffle tickets was donated to the local charity. TruStone Financial employees look forward to continuing to give to local organizations in 2018.
