Glendora, CA, February 7, 2018 – In the spirit of the season celebrating love, America’s Christian Credit Union (ACCU) stands committed to stronger families by helping furry friends have the chance to spend this Valentine’s Day in a loving home. On Saturday, February 10, the credit union will host its fourth annual pet adoption day – “Pause For Paws” –  from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Glendora headquarters building on Route 66.

Seeking to bring the animal-loving community together and support the building of stronger families, ACCU offers a space for pets and the whole family to have fun and celebrate the tradition of love this time of year. The goal for this year’s event is to facilitate 14 adoptions to reach a grand total of 60 adoptions since the event’s start in 2015. The public is encouraged to stop by at any time during the event to take part in any of a wide array of activities, including raffles, pet accessory shopping, games, and, of course, pet adoptions.

Pause For Paws is being hosted by ACCU in partnership with Foster Army Animal Rescue, The Crazy Dog Ladies, Priceless Pets, Friends of Upland, Inland Valley Humane Society, Farmers Insurance, Bark 4 Life, Sydnee’s Pet Grooming, Rescue Works, Best Buddies Pet Care, Dulcet Designs by Jenn, Hand in Paw, McKinley Children’s Center, VCA Animal Hospital, West Coast Grooming, and Southland Properties.

The event is free and open to the entire community.
