(Indianapolis, IN, March, 2018) Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), Central Indiana’s largest credit union, hosted their 9th annual “Bowl-A-Thon” employee fundraising event, at Expo Bowl in Indianapolis on Sunday, February 18, 2018. There were 240 bowlers that attended the event, filling 40 lanes. The event raised $6,600 which will assist in supporting the mission of Indiana Members Foundation.
Features of the day included over 120 door prizes and an award for “Best Team Costume”. Each bowler that participated received two games and shoes. 
The Indiana Members Foundation was founded in 2010 by Indiana Members Credit Union employees and volunteers for the purpose of being a positive influence in the community, specifically providing school children in the Indianapolis area with the necessary essentials for learning and succeeding in their education.
Mandy Emery, vice president of community involvement for IMCU and executive director of Indiana Members Foundation stated, “We had a great time this year raising money at our ‘Bowl Like a Super Hero Bowl-A-Thon.’ It was a day filled with comradery! Employees bring their families and mingle with their co-workers while raising money for a great cause! It’s truly heartwarming to realize the generosity of our IMCU family. We’d also like to thank Enterprise Car Sales for bringing a team to bowl with us. We raised over $6,600 which will help us (Indiana Members Foundation) to support our mission. This year’s goal is to award $50,000 with our Robert E Martin Collegiate Scholarship Program, award $10,000 in grants through our Joan Wolfe Legacy Grant and also to purchase 5,000 backpacks and fill them with school supplies. ”
