Oscoda, Michigan, March 16, 2018 – Northland employees heated up the 2018 Relay for Life fundraising season with a bake sale event to raise over $1600.00 to fight cancer. Northland employees in AuGres, Fairview, Gaylord, Glennie, Hale, Harrisville, Houghton Lake, Mio, Oscoda, Skidway, Tawas, and West Branch combined efforts that day to prepare and sell homemade baked goods at each of their credit union branches to support Relay for Life.     

Northland CEO, Pete Dzuris, said, “I am delighted with the enthusiastic efforts of our people to support Relay for Life. They are having fun, they’re bringing people together within our communities and most importantly they are making a difference in the fight against cancer, a disease that affects us all.”

Relay for Life is a signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.  Participants like Northland volunteer their time and actions to celebrate those affected by cancer, remember loved ones lost and work to raise money to support efforts to fight cancer.
