Credit Unions United Chapter recently awarded $1,500 in educational scholarships to student members of chapter affiliated credit unions. The scholarships were based on a 500 word essay titled “The Value of My Credit Union Membership. Five individuals each received a $300 Scholarship, and the recipients were:

Megan Klebe, graduate of Minot High School and member of Prairie FCU and Town & Country CU;

Rebecca Schlichting, graduate of Minot High School and member of GEM FCU;

Ensley Poindexter, graduate of South Prairie School and member of Prairie FCU and Town & Country CU;

Karena Verbitsky, graduate of South Prairie School and member of North Star Community CU;

Mason Dunn, graduate of Surrey High School and member of Town & Country.
