(Somerville, MA) Naveo Credit Union continued their 90th Anniversary celebration by hosting a member appreciation summer BBQ on Saturday, September 8 from 11AM to 3PM at its Somerville branch. The event was well attended by over 150 members, neighbors, community partners, directors and employees.

Naveo’s Summer BBQ was a casual, celebratory even to thank Naveo members and neighbors for choosing Naveo as their community financial institution and their support over the last 90 years. The event featured an assortment of food options, including hamburgers, hotdogs, veggie burgers, grilled chicken and even linguica sandwiches, prepared by John Ramos Catering. Naveo made sure to include a few fun options for kids, including a bounce house, temporary tattoos, Italian ice and yard games. Those in attendance also had the opportunity to spin a prize wheel for a trinket or a Naveo t-shirt.

Naveo employees and directors were very much a part of the event, greeting guests, serving food and drinks, and chatting with those new to the neighborhood. The BBQ concluded with three lucky winners taking home a TV, FitBit and an Amazon Alexa
