Warner Robins, GA — Robins Financial Credit Union will be giving back to the community during the holidays with their 25 Days of Holiday Giving. This year, they selected 25 different organizations throughout their county radius to provide a monetary donation to help the organizations with their holiday festivities. The following organizations received a donation during the second week: • Big Brothers Big Sisters Heart of Georgia in Macon received a $500 donation. This organization provides children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one to one relationships that change their lives for the better. • Food Pantry in Warner Robins received a $500 donation. This organization provides food assistance. • Monroe County Family Connection in Forsyth received a $500 donation. This organization will deliver gifts to children in the community. • Athens Area Habitat for Humanity in Athens received a $500 donation. This organization provides strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter and housing. • ABBA House in Perry received a $500 donation. This organization is a safe place where addicted or abused women can recover and find healing. • Telfair County DFCS in McRae received a $500 donation. This organization helps children in foster care. • Boys & Girls Clubs of Ft. Valley in Ft. Valley received a $500 donation. This organization serves disadvantaged children and youth through a developmental strategy, that builds character, self-confidence and competence.
