Westerly Community Credit Union helped celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Special Olympics Rhode Island by hosting a 50 Year Celebration Banner signed by the Special Olympics athletes. The banner has traveled throughout Rhode Island to various credit unions representing the contributions they made as part of the Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA). To date, the CCUA has raised over $1 Million dollars and has been a major sponsor for over 18 years!

In addition to donations through CCUA, Westerly Community Credit Union participated in Special Olympics of Rhode Island Bowling, State Summer Games, Candy Sales and Dress Down Days to help raise additional funds.
