(COLORADO SPRING, CO – February 26, 2019) –– The Security Service Charitable Foundation has presented Mountain States Children’s Home with a $2,500 donation. Those funds will provide for the replacement of farm equipment used to harvest hay.  Located on a 155-acre working farm, the children’s home depends upon the harvest to fund the operations of the home.

“Aside from providing for their emotional and housing needs of the children in our care, we want to provide our youth with the opportunity to learn new skills and the value of working with land to produce what we need,” said Randy Schow, executive director for Mountain States Children’s Home. “The new tractor parts purchased through the Security Service Charitable Foundation donation will help us do just that.”
