St. Louis, MO–First Community has teamed up with St. Louis’ hit morning radio show The Rizzuto Show on 105.7 The Point to raise funds for local organization Greater St. Louis Honor Flight.
St. Louisans can purchase the limited edition red, white, and blue ‘Weirdo’ sticker at all First Community branches in Missouri and Illinois from June 22nd through July 7th for a minimum of a $1 donation. All proceeds benefit the Greater St. Louis Honor Flight organization.
“First Community is celebrating our 85th anniversary this year and we have the greatest respect for all the generations who have served our country during that time. We are proud to support the Greater St. Louis Honor Flight and the work they do”, said First Community CEO, Glenn Barks.
At a kickoff event held Friday, June 21st in Glen Carbon, over 300 stickers were sold in a two hour time period. The Rizzuto Show’s Weirdo sticker is a collector item amongst its fan base. They release various designs each year, this being the first American flag theme they have ever done.
The back of the sticker features a space where you can write in the name of a Veteran or current service member you’d like to say ‘Thank you’ to. First Community is encouraging sticker purchasers to take a selfie and share it on their social media pages where they’ll be entered to win a Traeger Grill prize package.
